I would come to a meeting either in Berkeley or in Chicago.

Maybe the small working meeting could be in Chicago on the 12th?

I suspect that "working out a consensus" will be an iterative process
which
involves more email and less meeting. As an example, I think that
agreeing on
mutual physics goals will be (relatively) easy. Agreeing on what is
likely
and realistic within the context of the US program will be much harder.
It
will therefore be tempting to leave it out. The more appropriate
outcome would
be to mutually agree on physics goals, and for each section to address
the
reality of its experimental program on its own. For this, little
"consensus"
is needed.
